Wabash supplied most of the parts to Benson for a few years and around the 2015-16 time frame they did a full buyout/merger. Wabash owns a few other big names.
History is repeating itself. Fruehauf ( which Wabash basically is after they bought the bankruptcy assets) became the largest trailer maker by being a parts supplier/partner and then buying out those smaller regional brands.
