Not sure on rates here in Riverside county. Been out of aggregates since '04.

This haul I’m going to do pays by the ton. They won’t do hourly. The guys I’ve talked to claim it’s working. They average $90-$110 an hour depending on the job most of the time.

Ya I was really interested in that truck, but the box looks really rough inside. Almost looks like he hauled some kind of acid or something 55FADBED-CA89-42DE-A7EB-8190E41EE38F.jpeg BD8CA751-CE62-440E-8A8C-1061EFADAF6A.jpeg

don’t know where you are, but 44-46k rears are required here, you can usually get away with 40s if you do a 25k pusher.

steel with a high lift gate is the way to go for demo, bank run etc, aluminum (with a liner) for stock and black top

I may be wrong. But it looks like he was hauling wet concrete with it.

Yup. If you don't wash/blast the box out every night that's what they look like.

Hauling mix by the ton blows… just get a steel body. That money is ok if your top of the list but if your the last one to start and first to get signed out it’s gonna be tough……

    just some random thoughts

The guy over trucking from the quarry says he knows he can keep me busy till mid December to first of March. Around 2-3 months of not much work. I have been building a herd of cows up and figure that would be a good time for them to be calving and possibly I can find a bit of other work for that time. I want to look at it realistically though. If y’all don’t think it will work I don’t want to start. I’m in a failing haul right now. Don’t want another one.
