OD pay, most won't be interested. New equipment, so we can work for Wylie...Toys for tots donation, fine, but how does that effect me or my ability to earn a living.... wreaths across america, great...but how does that pay my bills? Just like Moore...hell yes, including getting the high hard one by Daseke, without lube, c/o the biggest dick in Daseke, aka E W Wylie....again!!!!

I stopped watching those useless forum videos after the first couple because of all the unnecessary yaba yaba that does us no good...and I only watched this one hoping to get an update on how long before this Wylie merger takes effect...which it didn't say.

What gets me down is constantly getting my hopes up only to have them dashed by a greedy holdings company playing switcharoo every time they need to make the stockholders believe they are doing something to make them money on their investment...sorta like rearranging chairs on the deck of the Titanic.

Holy cow, the sky is falling!?!? I don't understand how you can make a corporate decision all about you. I'm guessing if you keep your head down and plugging away this will have exactly net zero effect on you. How do you allow something you have no control over to consume you to the point that you're preaching doom and gloom before anything happens?

I’m quite surprised they haven’t fired you yet. Companies like that wouldn’t want this negative rhetoric all over the tinterweb and trucking forums. I thought SPD kept close tabs on this forum.

This cat has pissed and moaned like this over the last dozen jobs he’s had. About every six months he blows up about something. He needs to just ride it out and see what really happens before he jumps ship but he’s not going to listen to anyone’s opinion.

All I am saying is I don't want to have anything to do with E.W.We-lie ...based entirely on previous experiences with them. It IS personal, at Moore, I saw Wylie hurt a lot of people I called friends, and I have similar feelings about SPD's people because the personal interaction I have had with them is so similar to the way it was at Moore. My beef isn't with SPD, I still like the folks in Arlington, my problem is with We-lie and Daseke and how they treat people. But since so many people have issues with my hatred of Wylie and their management, this will be the last I speak about it. I will just deal with it and quit wasting my time here....so MODS, you may as well wrap this thread up and lock it....snackbar - out........

Instead of complaining about something that hasn’t even happened yet, why not try to enjoy your new job with SPD. If and when it starts going downhill then you can complain and find another job that doesn’t include a mega outfit.

It sounds like you got a pretty good gig going on right now, try to enjoy it while it lasts and who knows, it may be retirement time by then.

Good luck in whatever you decide:D

Maybe u might like a smaller company to work for . there is some good flatbed outfits that have less than 50 trucks... The only downside to that is maybe the equipment might be a little older... Just depends what area of country u wanna run in... If u like running northwest i have a couple leads on some companies up there
