Sometimes I take it easy, but I tend to try and run as hard as reasonable. They keep me pretty busy usually.

Offload went pretty smooth other then the safety guy being a little #####. Stopping everyone mid lift with two forklifts picking a 19k pound piece because one of the guys wasn’t tied off over 4’ off the ground. He was standing on my flatbed.

Now to get this dirty girl washed and bounce 360 miles to load an 11’6” wide load tomorrow. Going to SoCal. Won’t make it out of Alabama tomorrow so I’ll have Sunday off due to no Sunday travel in Alabama. A much needed day off.

I agree . No reason for the hate on snackbar. This is his thread afterall. I'd say if you don't like what he says then there is many other threads to follow along with. Me personally I enjoy following along and understand a lot of the frustrations that are talked about here.

If anyone has earned the right to give a true and concise report on any company, it’s SSB. And I might add, it makes for great reading. Just wish he finds that one elusive company that he can end his career with. He’s earned it.

I too have enjoyed the adventures of ssb.
For the past dozen years, for me anyhow, he's chronicled the same issue's we've all had to deal with on several companies.
I say keep truckin' and posting.

    SSB,

You really need to look into a private company to work for. Every mega OTR company can give less than a shiot about you and every other driver in my opinion, Case in point. I work for a company that just granted us an hour of pay for our lunches whether you take it or not. Good luck to you in your future endeavors.
