So let me see if I have this right. The company I am leasing on to must provide the Primary Liability insurance for my tractor? By law? I know I must provide bobtail and physical damage insurance on my dime.----

I was on the Family Dollar account for about 6 months (out of the FL DC) and Mike was a great fleet manager to work for. I had enough of the hand unload freight so I went over the road about 3-4 weeks ago. So far I am happy. I got a pretty good fleet manager. I had my truck in the shop for 4.5 days last week and still got 1700+ miles. This week I have been getting about 500 miles a day. I'll say I have looked at all the other company's websites and US pays more than most for a newbie like me. We run electronic logs so they do a lot of repowers if you don't have the hours to make the delivery. I am trying to get my uncle on as a team partner so we can get more miles. For the most part the other drivers I have talked to at truck stops and terminals are happy.

I am new to the industry, due to a poor economy, my previous job died, so i went to Truck Driving School, now I am looking at going to U S Express in a few days. Anyone who has any insight to this company please let me know what to expect. Thanks and God Bless Truck Drivers!
