Those warranty companies are in business to make money so they do everything possible to get out of paying for repairs.

 

same thing with those tv ad car warranty companies, and those robo calls.

they MAKE the mechanic tear apart an engine to locate the 1 bad rod bearing, which the customer MUST PAY for that tear down. after hearing the cost of tearing down the engine, do you pay for that, and then...get this..the 1 rod bearing..????

money, and they feast on the people's fears of high repair costs.

Extended warranties are useless for the most part. I’ve heard a few instances where the extended warranty helped somebody out, but I’ve heard of many times more that ended up being a nightmare. Even the ones that worked out, it was still like pulling teeth to get them to pay.

9 times out of 10 you are better off just saving your money and paying for your repairs yourself.
