28 degrees this morning but a gravy enhanced breakfast will help me face the day. Maybe I can encourage some neighbors to move to Arizona where it’s almost 40 degrees this morning. Work on old arn today in preparation of going to Boston.

FMCSA denies trucker’s hour of service, ELD exemption request

I liked this statement, “We strongly request this inadequately justified exemption to HOS and ELD requirements be denied in full,” the Truck Safety Coalition wrote. “Large truck crash fatalities continue to increase at an alarming pace, and it is incumbent on the Department of Transportation and FMCSA to take every measure possible to reverse this trend and affirm life safety as its top priority by denying the request.”

So that tells me they know their system doesn’t work, but we need to keep following what they know is CAUSING all the troubles?
Forcing you to drive when you shouldn’t be and so on.

BUT, it’s ok to grant waivers for like Colorado who can’t keep a plant from catching fire.
