I saw a "Best Fleet" sticker on Swift trailers...that right there tells you how pointless that 'award" really is

How many terminals does FCC has? Whats the current CPM? What's the idle on the trucks like? Auto shut off after 3 min? Stays on? APU?

I believe the only terminals are in Fremont and Omaha/Council Bluffs. They operate on a hub and spoke model so you'll see them quite often. CPM depends on work history and experience. They have APU equipped tractors and from what I can gather, if APU stops working or you're in extreme temperatures, you can idle until the cows come home.

Ah so they're like those stupid JD Power awards that have *insert automaker here* as the best in initial quality or some crap like that? Good to know

In the world of the mega turd trucking companies FCC is smaller and run better than most. You can read through the threads on here and see that. That’s why I chose to drive for a private fleet and don’t deal with the problems that you have with the larger carriers. Keep a good attitude and most will do well at FCC.

I really like working here just wish I lived somewhere on I40 or i24 so I could stop in regularly at home, but I live in Tennessee on i65 we seem to rarely go that way. Mostly i24 to ga or I-40 east. I will eventually buy a house along those routes just don't have enough money.

Any info for owner op pay as of current? I admit, I didn't scour the thread. I am looking at different options, one being FCC by suggestion by other owner operators and the other being Landstar.

    Its
It’s a sliding scale depending on length of haul. From $1.44 to $1.22 plus 100% of the National average fuel surcharge, this week is .57. Every quarter you also qualify for .02 cpm bonus for all miles run in that quarter. They will give you all the miles you can handle.

We have three different fleets, SW, MW, and longhaul.
