because a naive sucker is born every minute as the saying goes. There’s a reason lease purchase scams are still around to this day.

If you really consider this forum to be garbage you're more than welcome to look for another venue.

If it's so bad, why are you dumb enough to stick around for 10 years?

Because I have a pretty good deal that suites me. And for another 16 months, I can handle this and all the rest of the garbage. My point is very clear, trucking has completely gone down the toilette the last 15 years. But I’ve found a way to hang on. Dumb enough? Lol. Not hardly.

Well, it is pretty dumb that you talk so bad about it, yet you have a decade invested. When someone is asking for information about a specific company, not trucking in general, no one wants to read about how unhappy you are with the state of the industry. Save that for someone who asks, "Should I become a truck driver?"

Thank you for your insight. Let me go back the 14 years I’ve contributed to this forum and erase all the useful information I’ve posted. I’m just tickled how I can get a charge out of people. If my info doesn’t pertain to you one bit, you go right ahead and let everyone know I have nothing to put forth. After 42 years of this industry, seeing how it’s changed the last 15 years, and what the buyout did to a pretty good company, I have nothing to add. But that’s ok, 16 months and counting down, then you and your opinion of how people should voice what they see, like myself will be just a distant memory. Until that day comes, I’m all in. Without your 2 cents. Let me ask you a question. If what I post gets a negative charge out of you, why in hell would you even get involved with a total stranger that you happen to read a post of that you don’t agree with? I mean really, are you that shallow that little ole me can get you going at 3am in the morning? Carry on truck driver.

Years of faithful service in anything can be rendered moot with a poorly apportioned comment in the present. It's actually become a bit of a common thing over the last 15-20 years. I really don't care what you have said in the past, positive or negative. My point is that people come looking for specific and relevant information on companies, myself included. Not everyone asking about an individual company needs to be told what the state of the industry is. I don't think it's too much to ask that you share specific information that you may have about a company, when replying to such a post, and leave the doom and gloom commentary for threads where that is the topic. I would like to know if there is something about a company that is bad, but don't talk about how terrible it is when you have been at the company for 10 years. That's just dumb. At least be specific as to what you don't like and why. It would be nice to know why you chose to stick around. There must be good qualities about the company for that to be the case.

You can certainly respond to my post as if I have no clue what I am talking about. Anyone capable of objective thinking will recognize that this isn't the case. Just because you have little interaction with me doesn't mean that I have limited knowledge and limited experience, as it pertains to the sharing of information. That's the issue here. It has nothing to do with trucking. It has to do with the way you presented the information you elected to share. It was unprofessional, emotionally immature, and lacking in facts to support. Stating how long you have been around here doesn't suddenly improve the quality of what you posted. Quite the contrary. It makes it worse because your standard is higher than the average person posting. But, I am just a random guy posting, so what do I know, right?

If someone asks me how the hamburgers are at a particular restaurant, but I go talking about the problems of the fast food industry, I have spoken facts. Were my facts relevant? No. Were they helpful? No. Same thing here.
