Hey , seeing if anyone can help with this but I have a 2014 international prostar Cummins with a 10 spd. It started off a few months ago with my brakes dragging from a start and finally got the issues resolved after going through a few mechanics later( tractor valve behind driver fender well). Next I got the code spn 641 fmi 9 which is the turbo actuator that I got it replaced now coming back up again with a loss of power while driving. Sometimes I feel like bumps trigger it but I am not sure. When it happens it usually the abs lights come on then goes off following warn engine with the code above. I’m thinking it’s a loose cable somewhere from getting the valve behind the footwell installed. Could anybody help with this issue ? Thanks
…..also I have a right wheel sensor code also but does not show up currently.

Take it to a cummins dealer, have them put the thing on a dyno with the computer hooked up to it to see what's going on under a load.

Actuator was not the problem. Most likely in wiring. Bumps move/shake things around more and cause a wire/s to rub so this can cause the problem. Too many idiots don't know basic diagnosis. If possible I would go back to the place that charged for the actuator and make them find the problem at no charge.

    Mine was the delta sensor.

But mine was the 07 block in an 09 kw.

    Turbos didn't last long also.

They can run diagnostics and manually spin the turbo. 1 mechanics that did mine on a different truck said it should be spinning at 60k rpm. That truck was 30k.

In simpler terms, The ECM is not getting a signal from the actuator (not communicating) due to the most likely issue of a wiring problem, corroded, broken, shorted to ground. Note that a bad actuator is not one of the Possible causes of this fault code.

Thanks I was thinking that also it’s funny it start instantly after the first rail road bump I hit when I had the valve replaced. I will try to find a shop that’s good with wiring and will keep you guys updated.
