I’m lettin the ball dirt slide Monday in Memphis and then I think I’m reloading in Memphis area somewhere for GA so I’ll keep my eyes peeled for ya.

Richmond VA atm. Just delivered some lime and running a fast local gap filling load now. Likely going to grab some slate and bounce someplace west in the next load or 2 after i use up all the little local loads. Gotta make up for the $8k i spent last week on repairs lol.

 

One word to describe a week, in this particular Volvo…….MISERABLE!!! I’ll leave it at that, 20 years of driving and I would seriously consider hanging it up if I had to drive this everyday.

 

Friday update, still no truck. Crazy how a seemingly simple wiring issue can lead to 6 days of downtime.

 

Got my truck greased today and the annual done. Have to get the oil filter housing replaced next time i am home.

 

The world of dry bulk kicked my but tonight. I tried unloading that flour here in Ga. Took 2.5 hrs, repositioning the vibrator several times, breaking my mallet, and stripping my broom handle. Lot's of cussing and by josh i got er done. I got my head covered in flour. Tried finding someplace to park for a shower and didn't have any luck. So i found parking at the SB chicken coop. Screw it i will drive the 100 miles to cuthbert Ga in morning an get a washout and load chicken meal. Luckily it was fairly warm out an i had water enough to wash out my hair. What an adventurous day. Figured out i ain't as young as i once was today.

 

@Trashtrucker1707 you ever been to SSAB in Axis, AL? I have some sort of manganese crap on for them. And if it’s anything like SSAB in Muscatine IA it’s gonna be the typical “well wait here while we clear the bin. We only knew it was comin for 3 days”.

 

@motocross25 cutting it close myself today, ran a Georgia round, up to Macon, over to Junction City, then back to the house. Still in the Volvo, very disappointed in the Mack right now but looking forward to getting it back at some point.
