    Then just use Snap Binders. That's all I primarly used and preferred to use. Used properly, nothing wrong with using them. There were a few times I'd use ratchet binders for specific uses, but by and large, I usually preferred to use snap.

    I got ratchet binders because I’ve heard many shippers refuse snap binders and supposedly there’s a state or 2 that doesn’t allow them?

    Not true.

    Ratchets are easier to fine tune tightness and much faster to retighten during a load check.

    I only use ratchet binders if possible. I do carry 4 adjustable snaps fir the rare occasion that there isn't room for the ratchets.
