I read this.

It's about the young women in New Jersey that painted radium paint on clock faces and gauge dials at a plant that had a Navy contract.

They told them to shape the tips of the brushes with their lips, to get a nice, fine line.

They were paid by the piece....so they had a lot of lip exposure to radium.

It didn't end well for the girls......

 

Missus Skillet says I have to go to bed because she "doesn't want to hear any moaning outta me at 4:45am"....

Which she won't hear anyway, because she'll still be in bed......

 

Had a productive day today. Got two slow leaker tires fixed on The mighty Blazer of Trails. Valve stems and small leaks around the beads. Priced a set of tires for the pickup while I was there. Not too bad. These ones -

Just talked to a friend in Austin and she was jabbering about this place. Pot delivered right to your house. Recreational pot isn't legal in Tx so not sure how they accomplish it
