4.5 ft Francis antenna available at any truck stop. Self tuning, lasts forever. Mine has been in this truck and the last 3 trucks for a total of 6 years with no issues at all.

 

Just pulled into my parking location. I will drop this load at the drop yard in Lincoln, then pick up an empty and just dead head back home. I'll be home a day earlier than planned but that's fine with me.

Also the first time I'm deadheading home instead of taking a load through hometime. I'm planned to pull out of the house again next Wednesday.

6' SkipShooter with 2' of 1/2" PVC pipe slid over it for increased "stiffness". You won't be disappointed.

 

Got to my shipper in Wabash Indiana before 1500. One truck was in a dock. Finished with him, then three hours of nothing. Got called just after 1800 loaded and gone by 2000. Load is going to Hastings NE but t-calling at the yard at Fremont. Need a new oilpan and the usual 8k mile grease. Will do a 34 before heading home with a Four Oaks load. Probably do the safety meeting too. Only get an hour back Sat on recap.
Been out four weeks this trip, usually don't stay out but 2-3 weeks but needed to buy a new riding mower for the crib. Been doing the Henderson to Belton (ACT dropyard) back to Four Oaks circuit mostly. Rinse and repeat. I don't mind. Miles have been ticking upwards while other drivers at other companies are losing their jobs. No.complaints!
Sydney is my new driver manager. We should get along famously. Nice that FCC gave us a choice. Fourth DM in five years. Have had two female DM in the 10 years out here. One was great, the other, not so much. I thinks Sydney will be terrific. Looking forward to getting home. White Line Fever beginning to set in. Ready to sleep in my own bed. Deuces!

 

I'd love to meet the infamous George but unfortunately I'm only going as far as Lincoln today before going back home.

 

Sitting around waiting for a load in Aurora, guess it's one of those days again for freight up here. I tell ya, if I didn't need to get home on the weekends for my livestock and my other gig, I'd go OTR again, that was nice getting out of Texas for awhile and not dealing with anyone for a couple days at a time
