Replaced both and cleaned the terminals on the connection as well as greased them up.
#2 hasn't seemed to have popped yet... Just got to the rail yard..
#1 comes on immediately.
The error for #2 was fmi 2..Attached Files:

I went right down the street to the rail yard so maybe I haven't hit the right bumps for the issue to happen? But last week I drove a similar distance and the problem was there right away.Rideandrepair and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
It says it's those sensors... When I look on here for the "help with codes"... Lots of stuff says abs and tone rings on the front wheels....
So I'm a bit lost on those.
Someone said they got the same error after having front suspension work done because alignment and sensors weren't properly calibrated after the work? I just had front suspension work done but my rig is an 07...i don't think I have those fancy things?
Also... Having another issue where the reserve pressure tank gauge keeps dropping to 0 and setting the alarm off..
Changed that sensor...didnt fix the issue...
Trying a dash swap now.. But the morning after I changed it... I drove almost 200 miles before the issue started again...Rideandrepair and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -

I’d also check the ground wire from the truck to the pigtail connection on the back of your tractor .
and is it possible to get a pigtail tester that plugs inline ?
So you can see it while the trailer is plugged in ?
I have one like that for my utility trailer at home .
also
You might want to try using a jumper cable from the tractor to the trailer to ground the trailer .
you can have some weird issues
years ago when I first started , I would always check the lights by turning on the headlights and the flashers and walking around the rig .
A few months later , someone at a large intersection honks and tells me the right light is blinking on the trailer and the left light is blinking on the tractor , (this was on a 80s cab over with the signal lights out on the mirrors )
anyhoo, I checked and the right and left turn signal wires were crossed in the pigtail .
Don’t know who did it or how no one , including me ever noticed .Last edited: Apr 19, 2023
