Hell no, I refuse to be "THAT" guy lol

 

I mean sure there could be an instance where a guy is shutting down at 1-2am, there's only one spot available that's super tight and he's tired and not thinking straight and just wants to go to bed. Unfortunately this looks like the most common reason for nosing into a parking space. PLAIN ### LAZY!!!... Instead of sitting himself up and backing in properly so he could safely leave in the morning, he'll just hit the 4 ways, maybe toot the horn (maybe not), and start backing up and hope the flip flop wearing white Volvo driver doing 30mph through the parking lot sees him and stops in time. Not to mention the driver walking behind him with his arms full of bags of sodas and roller grill items!. But hey, he got to bed 5 minutes faster, so there's that!!

 

Maybe that driver is a member of the “paranoid that my hood is going to get ripped off” crowd.

 

Maybe he doesn’t want to hear the reefers beside him? Or maybe he doesn’t want to look at the truck stop?

 

Or maybe he is a driver who doesn't want to blast his neighbor with the noise and exhaust of a Carrier APU

 

House to Augusta GA to Omaha to Fremont to Blair to Cuthbert GA (grab a 34 on the way) then to Prattville AL to Lakeville MN to Becker MN and heading back to Omaha soon. Should be grabbing an eastbound load running through Central Illinois tomorrow to visit mom/sister for the weekend. Had a couple half days due to “issues” but ya, it’s trucking, or so I’m told.

I want some of those southeast loads. All I've had since I started here is out to California and back, with a couple random trips to PA and NY. Want to run something different for a change.

 

Tell your DM, they'll take care of ya if they've got the freight going that way. But if you don't speak up nobody knows and they figure your happy doing what you're doing

 

Tornado hit where I live last night, we got #### lucky, barely missed my place. Folks in town weren't so lucky, went straight down one of our major streets, did a lot of damage. Praying there weren't any fatalities, haven't heard about that yet. I hate when stuff like this happens and I'm not home, not that I could do anything, but I hate not being there for my wife and daughter when this stuff happens.
