Described best by driver. This will upset brokers here but nobody likes the truth.

NH Guy and drvrtech77 Thank this.

They'll make it a new regulation, or enforce the old one already, and... it won't make any difference. Your competitors will continue to undercut you. You want to know what fixes this and makes everybody happy? A robust economy. Not a fake one pumped up with cheap money and inflated by a scamdemic. But real economic growth kind of like what we used to have say 20 years ago.

It will help quite a bit since you'll know how much is left on the table. However I agree with you-we need strong economy and plandemic put many people out of business.

But your competitors will still undercut you.

When everyone sees how much is on table then you can decide if you want load or not and it's worth working with particular brokers or not. Those Somali pirates who undercut me before will want to get more too, makes sense? All of sudden they won't haul it as cheap as before cause they'll realize there's more to it than " all we got in it"

So where’s the blame going to go when transparency doesn’t fix the spot market the way everyone hopes it will?

Wishful thinking at best. When they need to go and not sit they will drive for nothing like always. Even in great times they always have cheap freight and it gets moved by someone.

    TheLoadOut and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

If you're doing it doesn't mean everyone else does. I'll sit a day or two waiting for good paying load. If I have to I'll deadhead several hundred miles but won't load cheap freight on my trailer.

    TheLoadOut Thanks this.

So after you've finished the load and sent the request for documentation you'll know how much it paid. That doesn't mean it will always pay that much.
