So you acknowledge that no matter what it will always be someone else’s fault.

This isn’t going to play out as perfect as everyone has pictured in their heads. Even if they end up having to show the rate up front all I would do is post loads early and let you guys bid against each other until it gets low enough I decide to let someone book it. And if it’s after the load is completed what would you do with the information at that point?

In a perfect world with a perfect load to truck ratio this would have the probability of working out better, but when there are a lot more trucks than available loads it’s basically useless information.

Yea I do the same thing but I see plenty of others that do not. Low ballers are part of the economy as well and will always be that way.

The regulation is after the load is completed and then send the request. Proposal is auto send within 48 hours after completed.

Still waiting for the carriers whining about broker transparency to post all their operating data.

So basically unless they run the same loads they will never know what the cost is when bidding on the load. I see no difference in it then if that is the case. I honestly don't have a problem with this idea for spot market rates unless it is public information.

    TheLoadOut Thanks this.

Even if the same load, if it's given out to multiple brokers, the rate would not be the same every time.

    TheLoadOut and Siinman Thank this.

But that still doesn't mean the rate will always be the same.
I guess I'm just not someone who spends my time worrying about that. If I didn't want the load for what it paid I wouldn't have done it.

Hit the nail on the head. Who the hell cares what some one else makes off of the load. Get paid your worth and move on. No reason to care what others make as it is none of (Your) Business at least that is my take.

Jacoooooooo, TheLoadOut and D.Tibbitt Thank this.
