I have been in contact with PTI and well I think that there are decent company I'm looking for higher pay. I do like referring to their trucks as "papershakers"
I actually got an offer from Bell Energy to do water hauling in the oil fields of western North Dakota. Housing is provided and if it works out for me I might make it a regular gig indefinitely so long as my health holds up.

Stay away from K&B. I have never heard a good word about them. In fact if you had said your experience was with K&B and not Rail (how the hell do you get "rail" out of Roehl anyways?) I wouldnt have been surprised.
If you live in Green Bay then you already know "The Big Orange" is right there.
7 grand for training now? Jesus. I might have to reopen my school...2rescuekids, Bud A., mjd4277 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Big Orange offered me a position immediately after I spoke with them yesterday, I requested tanker with Ecolab and they said that I could not do that immediately but rather haul paper from Wisconsin to the east coast and start May 22nd. It's not exactly what I hope for so I'll let the offer stand but it is at the bottom of the pile right now. I really just wanted to use them to get tanker experience and then move on.
Freymiller and Cardinal Logistics have both talked me up about offers that I would be satisfied with but still I don't think I'm going to pass up the opportunity in the North Dakota oil fields for them unless the oil fields just don't work out for me.
I'm actually surprised with Oakley Transport out of Florida, I've been talking with one of their recruiters for over a month and after I sent in my application yesterday I have not heard back from them at all. They were wanting me to come down to Florida to do seasonal tanker work and then transition into something like OTR tanker or dedicated or regional later this year. If need be I might even consider doing PRIME tanker just to get experience. -
PTI and Schneider are going to be bouncing down the road in a spring ride trailer, getting the crap beat out of you. That’s not worth it, especially when it comes to job satisfaction.
Still undecided, 2Tap and Blagoje Thank this. -
