Starting Schneider National Dedicated Flex Fleet

Both before orientation and during. It's amazing how many guys pass the first and fail the second.

The only reason I would even entertain the idea of working for Schneider again is if it's the dedicated account out of my local Schwan's plant. Load planners on standard VTL don't know their ### from their elbow.

I wouldn't bother with Schneider. Been driving 2 years for them. Currently on the NDF account. They put me on a Dollar Tree account in California and 1st day of manually delivering 4000 boxes to two stores I hurt my back. Currently trying to recover and they told me after the weekend to go back on the account. I said no my back still hurts and I don't want to be on the account because I'm going to end up with a bad back. The head NDF guy, call him big D, called me and said this the only account they have for NDF. Which is a lie. They pulled me off of a concrete flatbed account in Utah that still needs drivers. Anyway it looks like they will fire me for getting hurt. So yea after 2 years of driving with no incidents this is what pull. Yea the pay is nice but what a scummy thing to do.

 

look to transfer to a set account unless you're not living in an area with anything.

 

Found this on Facebook memories from 2 years ago. Had been living in Michigan for 3 years at that point and this was the first time I had been back to my home state of Kansas in that time frame. Both truck and trailer are probably traded off or sold by now.
