    herkyboy will love this...

yes, its the eaton solo, and i just got off the phone with Royce, his job must really suck, I don't know that, I'm just judging by his attitude... anyway, Dutch and a few others of us seem to know something that a company with 500 of these prostars doesn't know. Royce told me that he had no information that the eaton solo clucth had any issues..:biggrin_25513:

when I asked about some sort of compensation due to me missing 6 more days of work because they did the job wrong the first time, I was told that he had never heard of it happening before.. so I said with our buying power I would think.... and I got cut off and told that swift doesn't get downtime if there truck breaks down, its just something you gotta suck up......

I would think that when a driver calls the guy in charge of that department that he would have a #### clue!

for the new people here, this has nothing to do with JCT, its a good company and I'm happy here, the JCT shop did not have anything to do with this either (this time) but Royce is an idiot! and he proved it to me again today! I wonder what his boss is going to think of his attitude towards the drivers.

they tell me my truck is going for a road test this morning and then I should be ready to roll, if its not fixed this time maybe I will give swift a call..:biggrin_25525:

I got a call from Denis at the shop about a month ago, he wanted to know how my last trip to the shop was. so i told him... without going into all the details here, I will just say that Denis knew without a doubt that I was less than happy. sense that call I have not heard 1 thing from them, nothing.. when I was talking to him I questioned if some of the things on my bill were even legal and he told me that he would look into it. I guess he "forgot" to get back with me......

I will state here what I told him that day. I WILL NOT HAVE ANYTHING DONE AT THE JCT SHOP!! if the guy running it can't take a moment out of his morning to talk to a driver that makes his paycheck for him, than he won't have time to work on my truck and make sure my bill is right....

Thanks LMB! I appreciate you getting back to me, I am currently driving locally for a food service company and was just curious on what a person could make leasing a truck. Thanks again!

ok thanks, why the difference between you and LMB though? Running harder, different style of trucks=less payment? thanks in advance for answering all my questions.

Alan has a special truck too, it sucks trailers into at truckstops. ;)

ok, I'm back on the road, well sorta, I'm at willcox......
So far no noise but I don't even have a trailer yet so the jury is still out. I'm just glad to not be in Tucson anymore.
