Well, finally got someone to answer the cell phone and said I could park in the dock that don’t have their truck in it. Of course I get there and right across from the open dock is another truck so I managed to get in the dock but Im nose to nose with the truck across from me almost. At least it is well lit here so can see everything. Prob going to have to PC to second stop if they unload fast since 10 hr break won’t be up til 0800. I-68 takes forever to cross with a heavy load.

Kicked off my second BH stop at dulles airport this morning then deadheaded me to gatorade to drop my trailer and headed home til Tuesday. Much needed time to unwind after breaking down so much recently.

Finfn1372, JohnBoy and dwells40 Thank this.

Another milestone as I step closer to retirement. I applied for my SS while I was home this last time. Got a phone call 2 weeks ago from a very nice case worker. Because I hit my maximum retirement age last November, I took a lump sum payment of $16,800. That was direct deposited last week. Last night my first monthly check of $2813 was deposited. Can’t wait until July 7th 2024 for my wife to turn 65, then it’s adios. No more trucking, operations, pooping in a porta potty or gourmet meals off a roller grill.
