The way I read it, you have to either get your CDL and drive 120,000 miles, or work one year for them...whichever is LONGER.

So in essence, you need to do all three of those things: get your CDL, and drive a minimum of 120,000 miles. If you finish the miles early, you need to wait until the year's up. If you don't, you need to drive the 120,000 miles.

I had no idea that this site had so many attorney's as members. I'm dumping my attorney now. This will save me a boatload of money!!!

 

That's the only logical thing to do.

That statement is Considered ( Contempt of Court )
The fine is up too 1 year in.jail.AND OR a 5000.00 fine ..
You have the right to a Attorney ..if you choose to have a attorney and can not afford one .. One will be apointed to you by the court..
DO YOU UNDERSTAND YOUR RIGHTS ?

 

I dont think they offer one for contempt of court though... I once asked a judge to look over his left shoulder at that red, white, and blue piece of cloth and asked him if he knew he was still in the United States and he didnt think it was as funny as the rest of the people in the courtroom...(not going to get into all of it, but he did something that was blatently against the constitution - and he DID later apologize to me for it)

 

Do you think she would be the OP's lawyer ?
