I'm also having a new but common problem. When I plug the trailer light pigtail into trailers, the front two amber lights at the top of the trailer don't always come on. They come on if I push the pigtail up though. What's the best thing to use to wedge underneath the pigtail so all my lights work? Don't want to get inspected and cited for something stupid.

Use a trailer seal, put it in with the pigtail on the side you can't see, it'll Wedge it in tight, then once the pigtail is all the way in, cut off the part of the seal that's hanging out. Works every time
