Somehow I don’t think that would go over too well at a scale house.

OK. Son in law lives in Versailles now, Woodford county. Woodfords still is close enough if the breeze is flowing properly, he can sit in his yard and get good whiffs. Sinkhole/cave under the courthouse in town. An 8" cast iron pipe sends the dampness out a ways to a low place, sticks up right there, then may ooze...

That one must have been a cheap knock off. Me never had no bad "Vise Grips", as long as the spring was still there. Teeth did not slip, did not wear...

That’s half the excitement of harbor freight tools. How are they gonna be lost or purposefully destroyed.

. Heck I might dress up in a red suit and drive to the HO for a ration of elk. Sometime after thanksgiving for a picture with the critter.

Miss the old days in Sears. 1/2" ratchet starts to slip, drop in to store on lunch. Nice helpful lady (here in Tupelo) reach out for it, turn around to pick up a kit, walk over to the register desk and proceed to install. Nice nails not afraid of a snap ring. Smile and ask you to come back.

Better yet, little excess cheater on a 1.5" box wrench and darn, the loop just tore out, Musta been a bad place in the teething process. Other end still good.
Probably was, here is a new one. Why don't you keep this one, cut it off and can still use the good end. And with a smile say "You will have to slip a piece of pipe over the cut off to use, but you probably know how to do that.."
Had one tool truck in the area. Sears moved from downtown to the Mall, she retired, a year later we had 4 tool trucks running around Tupelo. Service sells.

This pair, the adjusting screw didn't want to turn smooth any more. Tried to remedy but decided was junk and flung into creek. They were cheap ones, not ViceGrip brand.

And with that I shall retire for the evening.

    Getting better slowly.
    Safe travels
