FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Yep had one let go just when I got to the bottom of mounteagle one summer when I was doing flatbed. I had a slab of steel on it was 10" thick 57' long 10.5 wide and weighed 59k I was grossing about 91k. Glad it let go at bottom. LOL

 

If you need a place to park, there's a Love's at the D street exit. Forgot the exit number..44 i believe. Doesn't get full too quick. There's also a pickle park right after that exit on 131 SB, but before the exit you need.

If all else fails, take exit 38B to M43 west, go about 3/4 mile and hang a left on 9th street. There's a Walmart on the right hand side that allows overnight parking. You'll have to go NB on 131 and swing back around south at D street though. I wouldn't recommend going through downtown Kzoo with a rig.

 

You were right. The yard dog flagged me down because I appeared to not know what to do and he told me where to put my empty and where to pick up my loaded. Don't have to check in with guards or anything.

Due to the flat I now get to deal with the joys of evening rush hour in the Metroplex. How fun!!

Yeah, I'm at that Love's now, stopped in for a shower, F it ! Decided I'm done, got 2 hours drive time left, but I Know I can't sleep at shipper, so, I'll head up there in the morning, find an acceptable trailer and do this S over again! Says 8-5, but I know that's idiot broker BS, so I'll get back down here earlier and get in line, it's a FCFS paper mill, just like NM. So I'm not expecting to be loaded in a timely manner! DILLY DILLY MOFOS!!

 

That's funny, ya know I was actually thinking of bringing one of our chihuahua's with me, I never have because I just think I run to hard to have a dog on the truck, but with my recent luck, I definitely ain't bringing her, who knows what could go wrong then lol

 

To top things off, I found out my mother in law totaled her car on her way home from the casino last night..... and she's alright!... I can't catch a break!

 

I hadn’t had one in years and then back in April, I had 1 blow on a Wednesday, 1 blow the following Tuesday, 1 on Thursday, and 1 on the next Tuesday. Of course, all were recaps and all of our loads (not FCC) are 42-45k. Cost me a total of 20 hours.

 

I'm well aware as I live here too. Outside of family I wouldn't inconvenience myself for a roommate or whatever you have going on there. Maybe I'm an a-hole but they can figure it out for themselves is my thoughts.
