That reminds me of my Magnum days. Loved the drive north of Sioux City on I-29. At least you’re not going to Grand Forks when there's a wind chill of 50 below!

    BigR and bzinger Thank this.

Stopped at a pickle park in the middle of BFN northern Iowa on I-35. 674 miles for the day. Dropping this in Shell Rock about 0600 tomorrow, then reloading a hop, skip, and jump away in Cedar Falls going to Sioux Honey.

    BigR and bzinger Thank this.

Dropping the one in KC in the mornin, then grab one there to run up to the CB yard. That'll put me back in our lane to grab something to deliver in the Dallas area, got just enough time to do that then reload for Monday and make it home Friday before my 70 is shot

    RStewart and cdavis188 Thank this.

The scale going into SD was…weird. Got rolled through and wound up stopping on the scale because the overhead message sign kept saying “pull forward’ but I was at the point where I was going to lose sight of the sign and it still hadn’t released me to go. After I paused for 10-15 seconds they finally changed it to “return to the interstate”.
If I had to guess they were training some new guys. They sure had a lot of trucks pulled around back.

    cdavis188 and bzinger Thank this.

They had the scale house just north of the US-60/Tonkawa exit in Oklahoma on I-35 open this morning, and I've never seen that scale open. Always looked like ODOT just abandoned it one day.

    motocross25 Thanks this.

I'm just hoping these extreme temps are gone by the following Saturday. It gets awful hot sitting in the stands with 88,000 other people.

    bzinger Thanks this.
