BIGR beat me to it. Lol. The northbound scale is open every now and then but it's not often.

The coop on 35 north just before Olathe KS has been open and usually that sucker is always closed. I made mention of it to a coworker he said it’s blitz week. I had no idea.

CVSA plans Brake Safety Week blitz for August

Wow, miss a day, miss a lot.
    y’all a chatty group lately :)

Well, as the boss mentioned, things are still soft out here it seems. After running my 70 taking a 34 then taking another 34 three days later this past Sunday, I’m getting to my home time a whole day earlier than expected. Offered staying out a day longer if that helped as I only need to be off on Monday for appointments.

but being home a day early is much better than a day late.

not #####ing, although I probably come off as I am, just hoping things firm up a bit more in the market soon.

    stay safe.

    BigR Thanks this.

That's strange that things are slow for you. At safety meeting last Saturday they said that we're overbooked with freight and have been for weeks. I'm personally not seeing much softness

With me planning on being clear up in Sioux City at high noon today, I wonder what their plan is for me to get home. Not enough time to run me down to Texas and back unless they don't plan on routing me home until late Saturday or early Sunday

    bzinger and BigR Thank this.

You'll probably pick up in Sioux and drop in CB or Fremont, then get something to take to the house

Gonna be one of them 4 loads in one day days. Dropped in KC this morning, took one from there up to CB, to get back in a lane for a longer Dallas run instead of KC to Dallas that would've got me home too early with less miles. From CB I got an Aurora to Lancaster, TX load. Only problem, no empties and I guess Mars needs trailers, sooo I grabbed a Pepsi load on the yard going to Lincoln that's gotta live unload before I can head out to Aurora. Another local/regional day I guess. Such is trucking. Pepsi better not drag their rears, ain't got time for this S today!

    MidWest_MacDaddy and cdavis188 Thank this.

I've unloaded at that Pepsi place in Lincoln and was in and out in reasonable time
