I don't think you're screwed, I just think the next job will be an uphill climb.
Keep after it. Personally, I don't think anything you did was egregious, just rookie stuff.
Be prepared to sell yourself. You'll be fine. Best wishes.

Another thing, be self depreciating. In other words, take ownership of your screw ups. Don't say stuff like, "the man was out to get me." Say stuff like, "I guess I never clearly understood the split sleeper thing, and yeah I rolled that stop light and it was wrong, but I know better now."
In other words, don't be a punk. Own it, say you've moved on, and move on.
    Good luck.

With some of those MT Data systems a driver could move up to a certain speed and it would not show up/ stop the break, it really comes down to how the company set it up, so if for example you were only a few hundred yards from the spot that you'd planned on having a break you could just slow down to the right speed hit the break button and just crawl up to the parking spot. I've done that a few times where I was caught behind a slow-moving vehicle that held me up I was quite literally only about 100 metres from the rest stop when the computer said you must have a break. All they'd do for us is just ask us to sign a form knowing what had happened and that was the last we heard about it. The company found that quite a few drivers were having breaks while still loading as we were hauling iron ore from the mines to the port, so some would count a break while being loaded, which would be ok if they did not have to move the vehicle, however you were required to pull forward after each trailer was loaded, thus breaking any rest stop. Where if would work is if it took the loader operator more than 10 minutes to load a trailer then the break counted anything less and you'd lose the break, I got caught out one time where I started my break as I pulled up to use the toilet at a rest stop started my break then jumped back in and moved the truck forwards about 60 metres then stopped and continued with my break, I get back to the yard the supervisor says you've breached your break, I told him what I did, he said what you should of done is restarted your break and counted another 10 minutes rather than just continue as once I'd moved it showed a breach even though I only moved at crawl speed, weighing some 190 tonnes that's about all I could do anyway. Lesson learned so had to make sure once a break started I did the full 20 minutes. Rather than split if to 2 x 10 minute breaks.
