That after an acid wash? If so ill need to try that next time im home. My truck doesnt get washed as much as id like since its rare i get more then a day maybe two before its mud splattered. Hard to justify a wash more then once or twice a month and a hand detail when im home and their aint 3 feet of snow on the ground when it gets splattered so fast.

On that note of snow a buddy sent me this off facebook last year lol. This is the road to my house in winter XD

Yeah it holds up better than just polishing them by hand and it's quicker. It doesn't hold up as good as actually having them cut with a buffer but it does a pretty good job.

Ill need to give that a try then. I miss my wheels being shiny. My truck may be a little rough around the edges but i do take pride in maintaining it as best i can.

@Professor No-Name i meant to tell you I went back to the stock set up for the CB in my anthem, about a week or so ago the skip went crazy, and personally that drives me insane, so I just threw my brownings in to the stock mounts in the mirrors and everything works fine, maybe I’m not getting all from my radio that’s possible, as long as I can utilize it for a few miles here and there, and maintain peace and quiet, I’m happy.

In the far off land of south dakota lol. Im one of the like 8 people who live up here.

But nahh that bridge is in a dip and we are less then 5 miles from a major lake. so if we get 40+ mph winds and a heavy snow that happens nearly every time since it acts as a giant wind break and snow drift. Our farm gets it pretty often too. Not uncommon to have snow all the way up over the roof of the barn.

Our issue is that road is one of the only two you can legally and safely get a truck in on to our property. The other one tends to ice over though and there is a deep ditch and lake to either side of it. We locals avoid the #### out of it with our rigs since it is flat over that lake. And if that wind hits just right with just enough ice.....well bye bye truck.

Well upon assessing the situation at Blue Beacon I decided not to ask about them about flashing my trailer. Some of those guys I wouldn’t trust with a garden hose.

Do ya pick up less skip that a way an are your swr's still good? I always keep my squelch up. I could have 400 watts behind my radio an it wouldn't matter any cuz I'm not gonna hear ya unless your within a mile of me anyways.
