I rarely get to stop by a Kwik Trip nowadays so

 

If you've never been there before, Its all the way at the far end of that building. There is usually so much crap parked everywhere that it's a bit inconvenient to get to. Don't drive all the way down there unless you are comfortable backing up 100 yards or more.

 

Got the geotab I like the concept but I can't receive or send messages till they fix it kind of stupid you'd think the bugs were worked out. Anyway went to eat with David truck 800 at mels diner great place to eat.

 

Is Kwik Trip the same as Kwik Star?

Yes... in states where QuikTrip. (QT) out of Tulsa, OK operates, they have to brand the stores Kwik Star.

I have a pretty decent portable radio in my truck and it always amazes me how many AM radio stations I can pick up at night. A couple Chicago stations come in, and I’ve even got WWL 870 out of New Orleans up here in Iowa. WBAP 820 out of Ft Worth comes in as if I’m right by the broadcast towers. Even lesser power stations I’ve heard quite a ways out. I’ve heard 1150 KSAL from my hometown clear out in New Mexico before. It’s kind of a shame that a once very powerful and influential form of entertainment is now relegated to mostly sports and talk radio

 

Got to Crete Nebraska to deliver and a POS driver at Smithfield got mad at me for turning around as he was setting up to backup and he hadn't put his 4 ways on to signal that he was about to backup so I turn around and the POS gets out of his truck thinking I'm about to turn around and back into his spot and starts yelling at me and punches my hood telling me to watch where I am going yada yada I reported him to the guard shack there. Anyway mix up of loads at nestle here trying to figure out how they mixed up my load two loads going to the same place.
