That was our old Barn Door Bill who braved the wilds of US-33 through West Virginia. I was not that brave, and took a different route that was longer but allegedly less squirrelly.

Got to the swift to get my load of TP and had to press the button half a dozen times before somebody opened the gate then got to the trailer and discovered the driver that dropped this left his pad lock on….called breakdown cuz angle grinder wasn’t working good. Got sent to the TA in London to have it torched off. Was 40 minutes late to delivery but still took me and now waiting for them to empty me. Was prepaid so no lumper fee which usually means straight unload probably from experience.

Bumper, Finfn1372 and motocross25 Thank this.

Back at HQ after delivering a loaded trailer to the Sam's DC just south of town. Waiting for the body shop to open up so they can fix the handle to my fridge so I can open the stupid thing without having to pry the latch with a knife.

Dropped my load out of Coachella Ca at the West Memphis yard this afternoon and hooked my load to go home. I’ll drop Jacksonville tomorrow and be home tomorrow night.

With freight the way it is here makes me wonder how the lease folks are making it here. Dropped in shoemakersville this morning then got bounced to Richmond with my empty. Been fortunate last few weeks but being due for home time wed. betting Im not getting too many miles by then before start vacation. Gotta hit up the body shop monday anyway since my def door came off plus get my gift card from HR. Guessing they put longevity raise on hold or did away with it since it has been a month and half and never showed up automatically like last year and payroll acted confused when I asked about it.

JohnBoy, dwells40 and Finfn1372 Thank this.
