Don't know which facility has a contract in negotiation but will certainly not be a long strike. I don't believe the capacity is available to cover demand for any length of time.
But be prepared..you may be headed to MN 1st of March..lol

Did sound like to me. It was unlikely. But who knows. They was going to have me drop a trailer in Baltimore. But since it probably won't be fixed (ABS issue) anytime soon. Just heading to Maryland. So if I'm needing to cover for Linde. No idea what trailer going to use. Unless they have me pulling one of their trailers.

The LNG exam is mostly common sense. And it's open-book. If you take the test at Railroad Commission headquarters in Austin they give you copies of the books when you walk into the room.

Man the amount of people that have flunked that open book test is amazing.

Some would pass on the 2nd try. But it took 4 times for this guy that use to work at a company I was with. I couldn't believe the company was spending money on him like that.

I can't believe they let him drive their equipment, much less load and unload it.

If I remember right they give you something like 4 hours to complete the test, so it's not like you have to rush through it or anything.

The company was PTI and they will hire anyone.

Ive taken LPG test with TX, AL, & OK And they are all pretty much the same. The test is a breeze once you figure out how to find the answers. Witch might take 5 to 10 mins. The good thing about the test in Texas is other states except there test for LPG licensing. Such as Louisiana & Arkansas.

I haven't taken the test in years. And the good thing about the Texas lpg licenses is your company will get it renewed every 2 yrs. Or you can renew it yourself if your not employed by a company. Some of the other states have to be renewed annually though.

@aramil248 if you have time after the test. Go check out one of these places

    Salt Lick BBQ
    Franklins BBQ
    Or
    Terry Blacks BBQ

To certify and run LPG you must test for each state?

Not sure if the new Linde(Praxair) still does this. But when I was at the old Linde(Messer) all hydro trailers were ran with vegetable oil. They didn't want a possibility of regular petroleum based oil mixing wit LOX. So all trucks and trailers had Veggie oil in the hydro pak.

But while at Airgas they were using petroleum based hydro oil in there units.

I just went through a bunch of training/ certifications for LH2 this past week up in NorCal. So I’m already trained in high pressure GH2 (450bar), Station deliveries, and doubles transport. This week was for industrial deliveries, desaturation/vapor recovery and trailer to trailer transfers. Boy all the years in cryo really helped speed up the training and understanding of potential hazards.

We used regular hydro oil at AirProducts, and even had a hydro line failure at a water treatment plant. Spread that #### everywhere, it was a freaking mess.
