Part of me was thinking about trying to work at the time the trainer for CO2 starts at. But when your boss says their disappointed in you for not wanting to do that. After telling them the reason why. Makes it feel like a mega wanting you to work whenever they tell you to.

I’m honestly not trying to be rude, but you’ll never succeed in the hazmat tank world, or driving in general if you’re not willing to drive when it’s dark out and everyone else is asleep. All you have to do is look on this forum and find the ones who refuse to, or are afraid of the dark, work for swift, or don’t last long and make no money.

Oh I can drive when it's dark out. My normal start time I like is 3am. So it's not because of that

3am has been my start time for over five years and I still love it! Especially in the big city.

I came from Fedex before doing cryo. My start times were 8,9,10,11pm. Did that for 8 years. Don’t miss it at all. It was making me look older and my face always looked tired.

Cali kid and Rugerfan Thank this.

I hear you ran nights the entire time I did fuel and a year or two into cryo. Couldn’t wait to get off night shift!

I have a love/hate relationship with early starts. My body (and mind) hate it but dang, starting at 0100-0300 makes everything else so much better.

So I was switched to training with a guy I have done nitrogen with before. He starts around 6am. So far hasn't touched CO2. But atleast driving. Even though it's helping with a drop and hook of a van hauling hazmat stuff. Also boss apologized. So things are good. Still planning on doing the Texas thing at some point.

I swear I have had more random inspections with this job than in a year or 2 of previous job. Either companies CSA score is ####. Or because hazmat carrier. Even though 2 of my 3 inspections was bobtail

CSA is probably bad, I’ve had no difference hauling gas, oil, chem or cryo through the years.
