WOW! That IS great! In a little over 4 1/2 months I have grossed just over 11000 as per my w-2. I stay out only 2 weeks at a time and I suppose that to make the kind of money your hubby makes I would have to stay on the road for longer periods. I can't stay away from my family for that much time and justify it for the small amount of miles that I get. If I could get more miles then I would stay out longer and sacrifice my family to provide a better life for them, but to stay out for a month and only get 1400-1800 miles per week in the national fleet just can't be rationalized.
By the way, I am sorry for the typo in my previous statement. I was aware that the thread was started on 4/22/06 and I made a mistake.
Thanks for your interest in this and I wish the best to you and your husband

Have you looked into their 7 on/7 off program? Road Dog seems to be doing pretty good with that.

Bbqribs,I live about 85 miles NE of Akron. The villiage of N.Kingsville, right on Lake Erie and about 8 mi.from the PA.line.Just got my W2 today,$9460. for 8 weeks on the road. Not too bad for what is actually a part time job.So a full year would get me about $28380.I am of retirement age and am doing this to pay off some medical bills. If I was raising a family it would not do.
