    Mr. Robert Thornton Moore was 6' 3", hence we called him "Shorty". On a later job; same height, they called him "Slim". Truckers.....

    Brake lights right at first tell the tale.... Might have jerked it straight enough to feather it down a little. Depends on how steep the downhill is...
    Afore the remarks come...
    Our old trucks hand valve did not fire the brake lights. My comment was a first glance that he was on the treadle on ice. If needed, I would have applied a "little" drag with the hand valve to
    pull it in line and ease on. Did not consider it being on a grade, so might not have worked.
    Did once for me on US45 north of Cairo. IL once on wet fresh asphalt pavement.
