For the third time, how do you plan to push your trucks down the road 150k miles a year when you will lack the ability to force dispatch them with your plan to use 1099 contractors?

Already answered that . I know how to broker & dispatch… and not as a freight agent or dispatch agent either.

not some bs person on here.

I have a book of business with 1,000s of places, over 7,000 deliveries nearly quarter billion in freight weight “claimless” delivered… because I delivered to them or for multiple times, I’m the nerd driver saved all or made all copies of the bill of ladings… so whether cutting out the middlemen, door knock, making calls, whatever needs to take place I can do it for myself, then pass it on to the drivers from there out... ABC123, but doesn’t mean it’s easy work, it’s difficult.. load board ain’t nothing, getting the load tender direct or the shipper TMS is the goal, but gotta negotiate from a position of ability, have/show purpose, make offers that can’t be refused & customer agrees, deliver on promise agreed to, repeat. Sometimes gotta haul the BS loads to get the good stuff, do it again & again & again, maybe get a short term contract or long term & deliver.. hopefully a contract that either pays deadhead as well or multi contracts to eliminate deadhead and try to always be loaded, get command of the green mile, stay out of the red, not always gonna be perfect so gotta take the good with the bad.. there are no guarantees anywhere.. I may even fail trying help others at least I tired and when I go to bed I don’t live with regret of not trying.

@gentleroger so to finish the math the next week “back to back weeks” another 5,002 miles @ 31mph with 10,002 miles within a 13 day period, nearly 150 hours driveline as you can see so 67mph on driveline. The 166hrs I slept almost 100hrs, so 66hrs waiting on shippers/receivers to unload/load, 30 minute break, fuel times, all within 13 days.

@Long FLD I hope I answered your question, perhaps when I answered originally you may missed where I said I was a broker as well. It’s all good, if you have any other questions feel free to ask, happy to answer.

    *looks around*

Oh, THIS is getting shut down.

I drove 500 miles a day, five days per week. I made $145-150k with good insurance and a pension, and I was home every day.

Can being an owner operator provide that? Please advise.
