Chicagoland doesn't deserve any USDOT/MC Numbers
You all think i’m playing or joking about raising hell over there. Think again, i’ll crack that company owner in their face, even if they are in Lithuania. Idgaf. -

and if you’re wondering why $5 million? I priced it all out. Chicagolands 5-10% profit margin for the year on 200trucks “if fully active” all year say $100 million revenue. So the walk away for the carrier would be $5,000,000? Nope, not more shop rates crazy expensive $195/hr 30 trucks to diagnose and labor repair aside from part replacement lol.Last edited: Jan 25, 2024

I don’t care how much or how little work you have. A couple weeks ago you were still driving for a Chicagoland company, but now you have all these contacts for your 5 trucks. If you pay on a 1099 and force dispatch your drivers 150k miles a year then really you’re no different than the people you’ve made multiple threads about on this forum.
Go out and do what you want the government to force everyone else to do. Get your five trucks and pay your drivers $50+ per hour on a W2 with full benefits. You can’t advocate for the government to do something that you’re not even willing to do yourself.gokiddogo, ihaveaquestion, Ruthless and 2 others Thank this. -
No offense but all I see is assumption there in response
Because your making assumptions on what I originally stated was just simple strategy math of a basic set up for the time being
I have a mac in the truck.
No where does it say I have 5 trucks or 5 drivers right now.. Let's go
the math comes from building a multi unit authority one day… basic supply & demand, a driver, with just one truck owner/op has no push or pull really when bidding with another carrier on the same load bidding with fleet of 10 trucks or five trucks, the brokers gonna go with the carrier who has more units. By pass the solo owner-op
Sure if drivers want to be a w2 company driver.. I’ll get benefits also.. Wanna own a truck great there's the correct way to legally buy a truck… wanna join 1099 fleet at the company, sure there's the USDOT/MC number, do you need load boards, routes/lanes, dispatching or go solo just need authority? Want your own authority great heres correct way to do that. All that without the BS of sleazy middleman, corny extra steps. Driver silver platter options? You gonna be a driver or be a quitter and in 7 months be a uber rideshare driver or use your CDL elsewhere.Last edited: Jan 25, 2024
