You're only chance is to attend cdl school at your own expense, then look for jobs on Craigslist or Facebook.
Craigslist and Facebook both have trucker pages.

    Try Schneider.
I read awhile back that they allow for one crazy ticket like you have.

That’s all I got so, good luck!

I cant say they take them for certain it's big deal go over 15+ on the flip side your pay will be very very low and treated badly by everyone I have talked to who worked for Western Express you might try get on a company that needs less of a driver and more of a laborer. Who happens to have CDL like a construction company or maybe a farm and there is nothing wrong with that I have done road construction pay is good and lots of overtime. You will learn multiple areas like motor grader, roller, dump truck. While driving OTR is tedious there's no actual skill involved so let me point that your otr experience will mean nothing most otr drivers nowadays can't even change their own truck tires or chain up even which is sad they do you and everyone else a disservice.

Schneider gave me a chance -- when others would not.

In my case -- I had a clean driving record, & no criminal past -- but I had a sketchy job history.

However -- if Schneider does hire you -- don't kid yourself into thinking their safety team is a bunch of pushovers.

Once hired -- ol' "Big Orange" will expect A LOT out of you -- & in a hurry.

If you're not a pretty good driver (or better) -- you won't last long on/with team orange.

Compared to other mega/starter carriers -- your time out with a trainer on a trainer's truck will be markedly shorter -- than with other starter fleets.

Thus -- a job with Schneider as a new driver has much more OJT...than with other mega- carriers.

Unless you live in the western half of the US -- most of your loads will probably put you up in the northeast -- where finding safe, legal overnite parking can be a real nightmare.

Be sure to use Schneider's northeastern terminals & dropyards as much as possible to get around this problem.

Schneider's BIG ADVANTAGE: you can pull/sample virtually every type of freight out there (except car-hauling) -- WITHOUT GOING TO ANOTHER CARRIER: van, flatbed, intermodal, tanker, reefer...& conestoga.

    Best of luck...

    Follow-up:

Don't let recruiting sucker you into one of their "dollar store" accounts: Dollar General, Family Dollar, or similar. Those accounts are NO PLACE for a new(er) driver!!! o_O

If its more than 5 years old should not be an issue, however in the end its the company's prerogative to decide who they choose to hire, if there are hundreds of applications, with plenty of clean records my money is on them choosing the new drivers with the cleaner records. With the economy the way it is specially in the Transport industry with plenty of drivers looking for jobs or changing jobs the companies are in the box seat and they get to choose who is best suited, when drivers are harder to find its only then that they'll have to lower their standards. In the end its all about companies keeping the insurance industry happy as they can set the rules when it comes to a transport company being issued with insurance. Keep on knocking though a door will eventually open for you.

25 over is bad news. No, your career isn't over. Can probably be hired with a 1099 company out of Chicago. Many of those trucks are ungoverned, so be careful.
