thats because that company pays it's rookies peanuts. If they paid better that rookie on rookie crime would go away.

What's wrong with peanuts? I happen to like peanuts.

It's a heck of a lot more than being unemployed and not getting a paycheck at all. -

I thought students and mentors did run as a team after the first week. My understanding anyway.
Also, I was told there have been mentors that would tell the student what to put on their log books, and the student was intimidated into doing it. I doubt that happens on a regular basis, but I don't doubt that it has not happened either -
I know for a fact that CR England has the same student policy, but their trainers do it all the time.wildbill123 Thanks this. -
I went thru all of this. if you are brutally honest on your app and no drugs and can do the lifting test they do. you should be good. as for mentors you have to man up and let them know your not there to be a second book. training will call you a few times if you are in hearing distance just tell them you would like to talk to them in private and call when he or she is not beside you. that in itself will settle them. keep an open mind and LISTEN. most mentors are good people there are a few bad apples in every basket. mine was tough as hell, but I thank him everyday because I felt like i was comfortable on my own. your last 2 weeks you are 1st seat driver you will be doing your own trip planning your own calculations and so forth. most are owner ops and remember its there truck you are a visitor and don't take that lightly ask anybody on here trucks are EXPENSIVE. Have a great time Swift is what you make it and if something bothers you call someone higher up and ASK dont tell them about it and you will do great enjoy the ride
