Nice truck, but what you need is a couple "real" shift knobs for that set-o-sticks.. I just happen to have an original pair.

You are close, but I'm wondering if you are lost???
220 miles away. Goddard is right on the west side of the dot for Wichita. US 54 splits the town in half.Last edited: Apr 21, 2024

Last time someone welded it was in a dirt parking lot in ky. These guys that fixed it this time did a bit better.
But yeah the last guy didn't do much better than throw elemers glue on it. -

Well, it's been over a year.... Guess I drew the short straw. Delivered already. 162k is a a heck of a break in for a fresh out of frame rebuild.
This truck is hopefully finally going to be permanent for me. Of course, in this one trip from the yard to socal then to chicago. Ive fixed 5 coolant leaks, tightened down the alternator hot lead. Replaced the exhaust manifold gasket, threw a bolt in the EGR cooler someone forgot, and fixed two air leaks. Let's hope they did a better job on the rebuild than they did throwing it in the truck. I mean the truck is pulling stronger than any of our other 800Ws , and the transmission is still new at only 5000 ish miles, cause I'm the only one that's put any miles on that transmission or this engine. I even stress tested it up around the yard and sent it back for repairs. Granted it's been since November I last put miles on it. With the previously inframed engine. They scraped that one, lost oil to two cylinders on me pulling 180ish. ...
And the various truck trouble I've had since November I've gained the name "Murphy"
