Ya might have gotten hacked at the pump and the card company shut it down when they detected a security breach??... they said there was a lot of that going on when they started having us enter trip numbers to get fuel

 

Update: card got compromised yesterday someone somewhere tried to use it in Dallas so I don't know what happened. Changing my passwords on fuel apps, and going to not swipe my card nowhere anymore if the app is broken going into the store 100% now I don't trust those card readers anymore.

 

Did they actually get away with any charges you know of?.. wondering if it's like when you're debit card gets compromised and you sign paperwork with the bank disputing charges. Are you going to have to do that, or did they kill the card in time?

 

They killed the card they were using a old trip number so they couldn't get fuel anyway it was an attempt.

 

At my company, we only use Love's, and I only use the app...and my EFS card got scammed. My company issued me a new card number (until I could get to the office to pick up the physical card), then opened it up to PFJ and T/A use only because their apps will allow you to add a new card number to the app and use it, where Love's makes you slide the card once before it lets you use just the app. I even had to close my points account and start a new one (it had $350 in points on it). They make us enter a trip number, but that's only for our accounting department, it has nothing to do with card security.

 

I retook and passed my doubles/triples test, so now i have that + tanker endorsement on my license

 

Do we still get fuel surcharge if you have to pay cash for fuel

 

I used the mudflap app got a decent discount last night at Kwik star, but I just fueled about 50 gal.
