Perhaps I will give you that one. But your employer can as well. If it’s spelled out in the terms of employment they can do just about whatever they want. Short of anything illegal.

And I am frustrated because people here who have NO IDEA what they are talking about and have NEVER been involved in litigation like this are claiming to know what they're talking about and they don't. I posted a link to a law library website that clearly stated exactly what I've been saying all along. Your choosing not to go read it is on you, not me. I'm not going to hold your hand. I provide links, that's all I can do.NorthEastTrucker Thanks this. -
Now can they just make #### up to take wages? No, absolutely not. It has to be all spelled out up front. If they want to use pay docking as punishment it has to be in the employee handbook. Does the OP have an employee handbook? Well…. He has a dispatcher in another country so I highly doubt his employer has made an employee handbook.

And I hate to tell you but your link says NOTHING about fining an employee. It's cute, though. I mean it fulfilled the "link" requirement, just not the requirement to actually be on topic.
Nice try, though. -

Now leave, you're so far behind it's ridiculous. -
