Just so you know, you shoulnot have a conversation about throwing out NAFTA with a group that are normally careful thinking, considerate, knowledgeable, well reasoned folks. (1 broker, 1 50 truck trucking company owner, 4 O/O and one transportation expert CPA). Needless to say no agreements were reached.

Pleasure always to see you and the BNE family, jamespmack. Everyone is happy with what I brought back, and it was hot enough, thanks to those coolers, for them to eat like they were being served it right from the grill. Took some of the whole brisket I got for my BIL and, those Pork & Beans are going to be a favorite of mine, when I come back. Have to get a crown done, so I may have to wait a month or so to come back again....and hopefully all that BBQ I got will last me until then. But if Bacon is on the menu, I may come back down just for that.

 

Yes we are still in Evanston, just moved a couple miles south of town.

This place is the original homestead for the Urroz ranch and the house and all the buildings are actually on a state section.

 

Kind of a double post because I posted it elsewhere here, but I figured you guys would shake your heads on this-

I ordered a big truck jack online on June 20 truck freight, XPO zipped it across the country and it showed up 183 miles away from me yesterday (June 25) expected delivery Friday (28th).
I get a message from RXO "schedule your delivery". Cool. Go online......whaaaaat, that can't be right. Almost impossible to talk to a person, but somehow I got there. Worked through the language barrier. No, that date is the soonest we can deliver to you. AYFKM?
July 23rd! Juuuuuly Twwwwwwenty Third.
Almost a freaking month!
The local freight company I can call and have something out of Spokane (where the jack is) next day if I call early enough.
Glad I don't really need the item RXO's got parked in some warehouse
