Not quite sure— it’s a late 70’s model and it’s been a minute since I’ve been around something like that but we’re gonna figure it out

Back home now. Guess I’ll go pick up the windshield frame with the new glass installed, probably do Jeep things the rest of the day. I found the new bikini top and new axle was delivered while I was gone….

AND I’m pretty sure I know someone (@Oxbow) that may provide a tutorial for the right price — which will be pretty steep, but worth it

One of the guys here ran an old three axle scissor neck that thing was 11 on the tough scale, but heavy.

Where we go and what we will be packing on it, tough is very important — we don’t have nuth’n very heavy — 12k telehandler is about it — maybe a 550 dozer once in a while

sawmill, RGN, exhausted379 and 8 others Thank this.

Some of the pavers around here used them long ago, most have changed to RGN now. I've never used one but always wondered how do you keep the kingpin out of the dirt?.

CAXPT, sawmill, Sons Hero and 10 others Thank this.

The king pin slips up into the neck when you lay it down. Put a mudflap or chunk of plywood down under it to keep dirt or rocks from sticking in the grease.

CAXPT, sawmill, Feedman and 9 others Thank this.
