Whoa! That far north? Nothing exciting here in the Knoxville area.

That’s crazy. Guess I’m going to have to watch the news today. Imagine waking up to that.

I have to imagine, until they get the roads safe enough to take supplies via The Gorge going into Asheville, because of mudslides, and the flooding, it doesn't make sense to bring more victims in until they can ensure they can deliver. That would be the smart tactic. I imagine right now, they're still involved in rescue operations etc. Could be no one answered you until now because they're busy delivering, on the other hand. :)

On a side note, The last time fema loads went down to Florida in large volumes was 2017, after the Hurricane Irma.
Not sure, if there's was any logical connection but the spot market rates in the 4th quarter of that year increased significantly. Is it going to be the same ... but has anyone seen any fema loads yet?

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Looks like GM is the #1 company that receives goods from east coast ports... Walmart is #2...

I'd say that's gonna have a big impact on loads up in the Detroit area @DUNE-T ... Maybe a good time for vacation soon? :)

People are stupid. Toliet paper is manufactured here so why are they panic buying? Haven't been to my local store, have any of you guys seen empty shelves of tp where you live the past couple days?
