I think Oklahoma might take you out back and beat you if you rolled in with 190k on a tight 8.

General issue single trip they only give 70K on a quad. Can get 60+25 with a 3+1. Most states will give at least 20/axle so 80K on 4. It's kinda all the south central states that don't seem to like quads. Northern half of the country doesn't care.

Gotcha. I just permit Max and go could be 2 to 3000 over maybe once in a while. But only once in a while right,,,and most of the scales are always closed or you take side roads, but it works out.

Yea well ever since last time I go around that state. They playing games up by Boise City. Had the scale closed but hiding in the bushes to pull over all the oversize only and make us go to the scale.

She almost took my permit because I have my pusher switch on the dash. She let me go because it was literally the first trip with the truck and I was able to take it out with the axle down and not control it. Didn't have Ifta stickers on yet because again, brand new truck. Had them in my book while waiting on plates to stick them to.

They can be quite petty. They cut us like 6 tickets in one week because our new trucks said “Dist.” Instead of distributing on the door. Okay Oklahoma, we ####ing get it, we can’t just fix this overnight when all our trucks are 2000 miles away from the yard.

No, not really. I haven’t seen anything that paid enough to use it. I hauled a JD1050 a month or two back and a PC 490. Both of those I was around 152. Technically I needed it in GA. But the ticket for 2k isn’t but about a hundred bucks. So I just went with it. I may or may not be going to get a fully dressed 349 next week. He asked if I would and I just giggled.

I can legitimately get 18,800 on the steer with 60 on the drive. Running as a close couple 8.
