Well now, you think if I admitted to "borrowing" that my deed would go unpunished or I would not be jumping from that proverbial frying pan into the fire? I do believe we all spoke the same language at one time. And sometimes still do. ;)

I think you have to consider the source. Women by nature are more cautious. Wouldn’t necessarily say it’s bad advice. It’s certainly something to consider. Like the “bird in the hand is worth two in the bush” saying. While that is true, it shouldn’t automatically mean you don’t try for the two in the bush. You may end up with all three. Or you may end up hungry. Are you willing to take the risk?

Great point of view !! I love it. I don't feel it was told to me in that spirit, but I like how you have said it.

Some people just naturally have a defeatist attitude too. I couldn’t imagine living like that. Some people never consider possible bad outcomes. I am not one of those either.

Found out why I dropped my conestoga at the Bulldog yard instead of Ravenel before doing the elevator duty. We're moving out of Ravenel. They have me heading to there now to pick up one of the last 2 trailers there and bring it to the Bulldog yard. I'm guessing that the canuks don't want to waste revenue renting a drop yard when one of their companies already has space for us to park. Makes sense to me! Then after that, I take my conestoga back up to Florence (not to Otis) and pick up a load to Cali...not sure where in Cali, but maybe I'll end up in Rancho so I can annoy the crap out of @The Block Robert talking his ear off.

Update-got my Cali load. Pick up 2 crates in Florence in the morning (not at the elevator plant). A whopping 515 lbs going to Fullerton, CA and San Jose. Some sort of glass, 1 crate is 12' long, the other is 18' long.

Not sure about this driver, maybe he's expecting to roll it over...

I heard they just had a hot Otis load for Friday that delivers Wednesday in DC. They figured, “one hand washes the other”, right?

I’m going to miss RAV, the last time I was at bulldog it was a typical container hauling madhouse.
