also, does someone know the magic formula to look up your paystub on planet knight? Hubby said it was KR then first 4 letters of the his last name, first 2 letters of his first name, and password was first 4 numbers of his drivers license, and last 4 of his social security number. Once I managed to get all that figured out, it says I am wrong. Which is a possibilty, I had to go lie down with a cold rag on my head after all that thinking, lol![]()
OK, name the good things about Knight.

So every time I got to a terminal I went in AND MADE THEM PRINT the #### things out for me. Which is a lot harder than it should be, some of those college puke office geeks wouldn't even pi55 on a driver if he caught fire! Very unhelpful, unfriendly, and disrespectful bunch! But if I had the misfortune of working in those offices, I probably would be just as miserable as they are! -
Thanks Dave, that makes me feel a little better. I think I am fairly intelligent but sometimes things just make my brain hurt! Have a great day!

well some people might have had a good experience with knight i did not, like today, i submitted my hours and even sent a message saying "have 13 hrs left in week" and my disp put me on a load which i can't do. and i can't pull over ever 5 min when i get a message. so tomorrow i'm gonna have to call and tell them i can't do it. plus that and the truck shut off again but i figured out if i hit the dash hard enough it will start back up right away. gotta love it!

How to quit Knight. Deliver your final load near your home terminal. Call them and tell them your done. Return the truck where it belongs. It's as simple as that. An abandonment on your DAC will pretty much spell the end of your driving days. -
got my final load back today, i mean i think i'm actually doin them a favor trying to get this crappy truck back to their terminal, at first they wanted to have me deliver a load then said they would find me one back i said, either you let me drop this load at the yard or A, i'm driving this truck to the columbus yard and parking and getting a bus home, B calling DOT and having them shut this truck down, or C you get me a different load that i can drop in the yard. they let me drop the load at the carlisle yard, YAY i'm goin home!

Congratulations ! Theres no feeling like quitting Knight. Some people say failure is purely the fault of the driver. Get the F outta here that does not apply at Knight. You wanna run or do you want to sit around babysitting freight while playing stupid childish games with a DM that more than likely hates his job ?
Here's some words from the inside of Knight from another thread.

They are putting in a scale at the Lebec DC so they can weigh the loads after they are loaded and before they are picked up. -
They use to be so busy (containers incoming from China/far east et al, and some carried up from Otay Mesa) that there was no place to put your MT.
Also, when they opened up, I use to do the Tempe run alot to get back home, and the loads then were relatively 'light', as furniture loads typically run 16-18K lbs. Of course, that is for assembled furniture. What gets the weights up to 40K+ lbs....just 'kits' primarily of stacked wood components??
