Latest word .......I was told that The casino, the next block south of South exit, wants to have the big Truck Stop there next to the casino, and they are going to supposedly make things nice for you great Drivers! This was just me and some people talking , so who knows. I hope I was told the truth. The casino certainly has the funds. As well as the land . They have two hotels and it was said they will build another. Tons of space for parking Trucks. I love the idea that instead of turning the casino into a giant casino with multiple stories for a hotel, They want to build something cool just for our deserving Truckers. If they were pulling my leg, I will be disappointed big time.

We’ll just have to wait and see.
I could see a casino buying the property for parking expansion, but mostly for 4-wheelers instead of trucks. They obviously have the deep pockets for it.The_vett Thanks this. -
Oh , The way I heard it was they wanted the Driver's next to the casino , where they have some parking now.
That leaves a few mystery's now. Will they build up for Drivers next to the casino?
If so , what do they have in mind for the old South street Truck Stop? (first would be nice to find out if they did buy the South st property.)

If I remember correctly , you are fond of the Heaven On Earth , restaurant. Last time I passed it , it seems like they moved it, not very far so it wouldn't make any sense. So I am thinking it is it's surrounding's or just me. Have you seen it lately? -
I thought the casino already has a big truck parking area with showers and fuel.

Rolling hills has quite a bit of truck parking and fuel pumps and pretty nice showers.

I am wrong again. This time twice.
Only stopped there once. It was like a weird dream (or warning of the person with me).
Many years ago , stopped with one other person. There were a quite a few customers, and plenty staff. It was unusually quiet for a restaurant , as we waited, to be waited on. It was if we were invisible. Not a soul looked or talked to us, and we sat there long enough for me to feel that maybe we had not noticed a sign that it was a private club or something. ........and left without a hello or goodbye, but feel it was more than what it seemed. Not sure why I am even telling this now...it was odd for sure.
